We welcome you to our safe, clean and friendly office where patient care is our main priority.

We are proud of our efficient, excellent service that we have provided for our patients and physicians since 2006.

We are located at 2162-B Broad Street which is on the corner of 14th Avenue and Broad Street.

We are across 14th Avenue from the Broad Street Medical Clinic and Shopper’s Drug Mart.

As a fully digital facility, we offer x-ray.

We are open Monday through Friday 8 am to 7 pm and on Saturday 12 noon until 4 pm.

We register our last patient a half hour before closing each day.

As a walk-in facility, you are not required to make an appointment.

You will only need to bring your requisition from the doctor as well as a valid health card.

We look forward to being of service to you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to schedule an appointment for my x-ray?

No appointment is necessary. Our office provides service on a first come, first served basis.

How long will my x-ray take?

Generally, an x-ray will take around 15 minutes to complete. If you have multiple studies ordered, it may take longer.

Is there any preparation required for my x-ray?

There is no preparation required for general x-ray’s.

When will my doctor get my x-ray results?

Your doctor will have your results in 1-2 days. In urgent cases, and at your doctor’s request, your x-rays are available online for their immediate review.  However, if your doctor has not signed up for online access, you are able to take a disc back to them if requested.

Who examines my x-ray’s?

A group of Regina based Radiologists read all of the x-rays done at our facility and the report is faxed to your doctor directly from their office.

Are x-rays dangerous to my health?

General x-ray’s use a very minimal amount of radiation to produce a digital image. Our technologists use lead shielding to protect you from unnecessary exposure whenever possible. Women, who think they may pregnant, need to talk to their doctor before having an x-ray ordered. X-rays are dangerous to unborn babies.

Will you take my x-ray if I am from out of province?

Yes, we can take your x-ray if you are from out of province, just bring your valid health card with you. If you are from out-of-country, you will need to pay cash for your x-ray. Amounts vary based on the type of x-ray being performed.

Who has access to my x-rays?

All of the x-rays taken at our facility are available online on two Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS): Radiology Associates Vue Motion PACS and Provincial PACS. Doctors all across Saskatchewan that have signed up for their remote access will have access to your x-rays.
